Kristal Wight
Country Ranch-Hand Folk/Pop
Biography
Kristal Wight is a country ranch-hand folk/pop artist who grew up on a ranch near Goldsmith, TX. From raising baby calves and riding horses to fixing windmills, she has done it all. Now that she has conquered life in the country, she is navigating the big city and sharing her music with the world.
Kristal was a part of the choir at Lubbock Christian University and got to tour Ireland, New Mexico, and Texas. Then she went to South Plains College to pursue a solo career and was a part of the advanced Touring and Thursday Nite Live ensembles. In Touring, she performed on Fox 34 news and various places around the Lubbock area. She received a Songwriting award by faculty for her outstanding ability in songwriting. She also collaborated with musicians she met at school and Black Heart Music Productions to record Sunrise Cowboy.
You can catch Kristal and her band, The Gems, performing various songs from artists like Taylor Swift, Miranda Lambert, and Kacey Musgraves. You can also hear her original songs at live shows along with surprise unreleased music as well. Kristal may have gone to the city to pursue music, but she still has the country inside of her. Her cow herd back on the ranch has diamond shaped brands that she has incorporated into her logo. There is much to come from Kristal Wight and her music, so keep a lookout for her in the coming future.
